Entrecôte

For Entrecôte’s South Yarra space, the Interior aims to show a narrative around the conviviality and delight of French dining, balancing the restaurant’s signature eclecticism with a daring and inventive spirit. Brilliant colour, fine detail and contemporary art mix with stately, old-world charm. Walls are boldly banded in shades of white and emerald green, establishing an enlivened, French conservatory style.

Perera’s own hand-painted fabric design is employed as tablecloths and a floral frieze datum on the walls, giving an artistic overlay that plays against the traditional French toile lining the bay windows. The combination of white and verdant green establishes a lively, French-conservatory style, articulated with an inventive and playful design sensibility.
